Lafayette Flooding to a Condo Building

The service area of this condo building in Lafayette was covered with several inches of water after an 8" main ruptured. Our SERVPRO of Lafayette applied structural drying technicians set up portable sump pumps for swift water extraction. The After Photo illustrates a dry service area after extensive work with no removed air movers and dehumidifiers. The drywall on the left side was non-salvageable, so it was gutted and removed. The new material was about ready for installation. Our team always checks and verifies, using moisture meters and infrared cameras, that the moisture content of the previously flooded building elements is back to a preloss state.
